World of Warcraft: Forever Player Hits Bag Space Limit Ahead of Level 30 Cap Increase
A min-max strategy in WoW: Forever backfired when a player held quests to level with later, only to discover 8-slot bags cannot hold the quest items required by Vanilla-era quests.

A World of Warcraft: Forever player's optimization strategy has run into a practical problem. The player decided to complete quests without turning them in, planning to save the experience rewards for when Blizzard raises the level cap to 30 sometime soon.
The plan collapsed against an inventory constraint. Many Vanilla-era quests require players to pick up and carry quest items. With only 8-slot bags available, there is not enough space to hold the items needed for the quests the player had accumulated.
"I have made the choice to min-max in WoW: Forever, something which I am starting to regret, because oh no, my hubris," the player wrote. "See, Blizzard will be raising the level cap sometime soon to 30, and I decided I'd complete a bunch of quests, but not turn them in. But I'd forgotten that a lot of Vanilla-era quests involve picking up quest items. And I only have 8-slot bags."
The situation highlights how early World of Warcraft's design constraints can intersect with player ambitions in unexpected ways. Bag space has long been a resource management element in WoW, though modern versions of the game typically offer significantly more inventory room.
