World of Warcraft: Midnight patch 12.1.5 scheduled for October 14 release

World of Warcraft players can expect the retail side of the game to receive its next update very soon. Massively Overpowered reports that patch 12.1.5 for World of Warcraft: Midnight will officially launch on October 14. This upcoming release follows an ongoing testing period for the retail game that has taken place quietly over the past few weeks while separate wings of content have drawn attention.

Testing for the patch is nearly finished, according to the available updates. Players tracking the retail version of the MMORPG will soon have access to the finished content when the update drops mid-October. Blizzard has not detailed every specific feature arriving in patch 12.1.5 within the initial announcements, but the completion of the testing phase confirms the quick turnaround for the scheduled launch date.
