Wooting Announces the Wooting 80HE+ Featuring a Rotary Knob and Lekker Tikken Switches
Wooting has announced an upgraded version of its popular gaming keyboard, introducing the Wooting 80HE+ with improved switches, a rotary knob, and a split spacebar module.

Wooting has announced the upcoming release of the Wooting 80HE+, an upgraded iteration of what has been recognized as a top-tier gaming keyboard. The original 80HE model has been praised for its customizable software, reasonable price point, and Hall effect switches that offer adjustable actuation and rapid trigger functionality. The newly unveiled 'Plus' version aims to build upon those foundations with several targeted enhancements.
Among the most prominent physical additions is a rotary knob, alongside the integration of Lekker Tikken switches similar to those found in the Wooting 60HE V2. These new switches are noted for providing a more stable, pleasant-sounding, and better-feeling typing and gaming experience compared to the Lekker60 V2 switches used in the original 80HE keyboard. Furthermore, the updated model incorporates a new FR4 plate internally and adds a split spacebar module, which allows users to divide the spacebar into three separate keys for extra functionality.
Pre-orders for the Wooting 80HE+ are scheduled to begin on September 17. While official pricing details have not been finalized, Wooting has indicated that pre-assembled versions of the new keyboard will cost almost the same as the original model, which retailed at about $200.
