WonderPaws brings cozy urban life sim to Steam and mobile with animal roommates

Lilith Games has announced WonderPaws, an upcoming urban life sim developed by its Cat Paw Latte studio. The free-to-play title is planned for PC via Steam, iOS, and Android, with a release date still to be determined.

WonderPaws places you in a neon-lit metropolitan city designed for anthropomorphic animals called Paw Pals. Rather than treating them as pets, the game positions each animal resident as a companion with distinct personalities, feelings, and jobs. You arrive as a human and move into a shared apartment with Paw Pal roommates, customizing your home's interior together and discussing decoration choices as a household.

Daily gameplay centers on exploring the city, building friendships, cooking, and pursuing different careers. The trailer shows examples like auditioning for pop idol positions, working at shops, or becoming an honorary mayor at Town Hall to hear resident concerns. Your roommates occasionally suggest unexpected decoration ideas during home planning sessions.

A unique mechanic involves drinking magic potions that transform you into an animal form. While you primarily live as a human in the city, this transformation opens new possibilities. In animal form, you can visit human friends' homes to be fed and receive head scratches, or discover city features like giant street-side grooming machines and sandboxes designed for animals.

Pre-registrations are currently open through the official website. Lilith Games has also announced plans for playtests ahead of launch.
