Witcher 3 Remaster Projected to Earn $26-32.5 Million by End of 2026, Polish Analyst Says
An analyst from Erste Securities Polska forecasts The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will generate 100-125 million zloty through December 2026, driven by new players despite the free upgrade for existing owners.

Polish analyst Krzysztof Tkocz from Erste Securities Polska projects The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will generate significant revenue for CD PROJEKT RED by the end of 2026. According to his estimates, the remaster could earn between 100-125 million zloty, approximately $26-32.5 million at current exchange rates.
The forecast is notable because the remaster is available free to all existing owners of the original game. Tkocz believes the paid sales will come from gamers who never played the original version. "We expect the premiere to spark great interest and potentially allow the game to approach the record for the number of simultaneous users in Steam. It should also attract a new audience," Tkocz said.
The analyst predicts 3 million copies sold between September 29 and December 31, 2026. The remaster launched simultaneously on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Early data supports strong player interest. Within hours of launch, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt set a new Steam concurrent player peak of 113,430 users, exceeding the previous record of 103,329 set in January 2020 when the Netflix series premiered.
