Shacknews Streams Well Dweller, a Metroidvania About a Crow Saving His Family

Well Dweller, a Metroidvania developed by Kyle Thompson and published by Top Hat Studios, arrived on September 22, 2026 across PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The game follows Glimmer, a small crow who ventures into a dark fantasy kingdom ruled by an evil queen after she captures his family. Armed with only a matchstick for light, players guide the bird through ruined environments, fighting creatures and meeting allies along the way.
