We Were Here Tomorrow launches October 20 with sci-fi puzzles and cross-play
The sixth co-op puzzle game in the We Were Here series arrives next month. Players will solve puzzles in a mysterious facility while communicating via walkie talkie, with support for cross-play between Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

We Were Here Tomorrow, the sixth instalment in the co-op puzzle series, launches October 20. The game was revealed at the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct.
The series has consistently centred on two players separated in a location and forced to communicate via walkie talkie to solve puzzles together. We Were Here Tomorrow shifts the setting to a mysterious sci-fi facility. Players cannot simply move between areas to help directly; instead, they must talk their partner through each problem while solving their own half of the puzzle.
New gameplay mechanics include upgradeable abilities. A block can keep buttons pressed down, while a deployable platform helps players reach higher areas. The story was written by Claire North, adding narrative depth to the puzzle-solving experience.
Cross-play support spans Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, allowing friends on different platforms to play together. Players can wishlist the game on Steam ahead of its October 20 release.
