Wardogs Update 0.11 Launches With Community Server Overhauls and Strict Anti-Exploit Policies
Wardogs update 0.11 goes live today, bringing split browser menus, persistent server IDs, and severe penalties for economy abusers.

Wardogs update 0.11 officially goes live today, September 14, bringing a wave of changes aimed at community servers, server browser reliability, and player economy balancing. The game has experienced a massive surge in popularity since its release a few days ago, recently reaching a peak of 400,005 concurrent users. Because community servers act as the lifeblood keeping games running beyond their initial peak player days, the development team has acknowledged that previous community server experiences were underserved.
To address these concerns, the latest patch splits the front end into two distinct browsers, Community and Official. Unnecessary filtering has been removed from Official Servers since they do not currently run modified game modes. Meanwhile, the Community browser receives text-based searches, improved reliability, and an updated host button that directs players to the correct location. Furthermore, Community Server IDs will no longer wipe on map changes and restarts, allowing players to join servers easily via a unique ID. Developers also added a Show Empty or Full option to the browser quick bar, enforced alphabetical server name ordering, and limited spaces in server names.
As an apology for previous shortcomings, community servers will offer a bonus 5% End of Match cash bonus. Additional quality-of-life adjustments in patch 0.11 include fixing various cash exploits and addressing more GPU crashes. Server capacity has also been increased in the Asian region to support growing interest from players there.
Alongside technical improvements, the development team outlined a strict stance on economy abuse. Players caught exploiting cash bugs face timed bans alongside a complete reset of their cash and experience points to zero. Content creators who tutorialise economy exploits without reporting them will be treated as advertising cheats, resulting in permanent bans. Additionally, accounts tracked joining designated experience-farming servers for more than a few minutes will also be permanently banned.
Looking ahead, developers confirmed that several community-requested features are currently in the pipeline. These upcoming additions include community server favouriting, tiered priority queues for community servers, message of the day promotions, improved warmup activities, and team switching controls alongside changes to afk kicking during seeding disabling. Full patch notes are available on the game Steam page.
