WARDOGS Surpasses 400,000 Concurrent Players on Steam Following Early Access Launch
Bulkhead developer studio has seen massive success with WARDOGS, crossing 400,000 concurrent players and selling 1.25 million units within its first day of early access.

Bulkhead has achieved a major milestone with its new first-person shooter, WARDOGS. The game recently launched in early access on Thursday and has quickly climbed the charts, surpassing 400,000 concurrent players on Steam. Within its first day, the title sold 1.25 million units, and player numbers have continued to grow since release.
The early access launch experienced some initial hurdles when launch day instabilities led to review bombing on September 10. However, community sentiment quickly shifted. According to data from SteamDB, no negative reviews were logged on September 11. Although a couple hundred negative reviews were filed by September 12, positive sentiment has massively outweighed them as the game sits at the top of streaming and social charts.
Observers have praised the UK-based studio for its transparency throughout the development and release process. The developers have maintained direct and honest communication with the player base as they work toward the eventual 1.0 release. WARDOGS remains available on Steam as it continues its early access journey.
