Wardogs Sells Two Million Units in First Week of Early Access
Bulkhead and Team17 announced that tactical first-person shooter Wardogs sold over two million copies within five days of its early access launch.

Tactical first-person shooter Wardogs has sold over two million copies within five days of its launch, according to an announcement from developer Bulkhead and publisher Team17. The game entered early access on September 10. It reached its first million sales within a single day before doubling that milestone by the end of its first week.
Bulkhead CEO Joe Brammer addressed the sales figures in a statement. Two million in less than five days is completely ridiculous, Brammer said. He noted that despite some technical bumps in the road, player counts surged alongside community highlights like clips, last-second victories, and strategies.
Alongside the sales figures, Bulkhead shared gameplay statistics tracked since launch. Players recorded 123 million total kills, 61 million total revives, 52 million total dropoffs, and $1.3 trillion in total in-game cash earned. Data from SteamDB also recorded a peak of over 428,000 concurrent players.
Brammer acknowledged that the game is still in early access and work remains ongoing. Developers are reading reactions, fixing technical issues, and planning future updates based on player feedback.
