WARDOGS Post-Launch Content Plans Detailed by Developer Bulkhead
Bulkhead has not released a traditional roadmap for the early access shooter WARDOGS, but developer communications have revealed plans for upcoming seasons, server features, and weapon rotations.

Developer Bulkhead has not issued a complete traditional roadmap for the early access shooter WARDOGS. Instead of a single static document outlining every future update, the team has shared details about post-launch content through developer Q&As, Steam news posts, YouTube videos, and social media channels. While hundreds of thousands of players are currently jumping into matches, the developers appear focused on stabilizing the first-person shooter and ensuring current mechanics function correctly.
Several features are currently in the pipeline for future updates, though specific release timings vary. Features listed as not yet ready include AFK kicking during seeding, disabling community server favouriting, improved warmup activities, message of the day prompts, and tiered priority queues for community servers. In addition, CEO Joe Brammer confirmed via social media that a server search by name feature is planned to arrive in Season 2, with the possibility of being implemented even sooner.
Accessibility features are also on the development agenda. Following inquiries from players regarding color blindness options, Brammer confirmed that accessibility inclusions are part of the long-term plans, though they were not ready for the initial launch. Content pacing will also shift throughout early access. Season 1 is confirmed to run for exactly one month, but the duration of subsequent seasons remains flexible as the team prioritizes developing new content and features over a strict schedule.
Future seasonal updates will also introduce new weapons and vehicles to the game. To keep the meta fresh, Bulkhead plans to implement a vault system that rotates existing items and tools out while adding new equipment. Each season will alter the order of progression, and player account data will progressively retain more persistent stats as the meta continues to build throughout the early access period.
