Wardogs Early Access Launch Offers A Pacifist Rideshare Gameplay Loop
Players diving into the newly launched Early Access multiplayer shooter Wardogs can skip the gunfights and earn cash as pacifist rideshare and logistics drivers.

Wardogs launched its Early Access period with server issues on launch night, but some players found success by ignoring combat entirely. Instead of participating in gunfights, players can earn cash by operating rideshare vehicles and delivering personnel and supplies to the frontlines. Since team spawn locations are far from central battle zones, logistical roles are essential for the match.
Players start with little capital and must purchase their own vehicles and equipment. Positive actions such as tactical deployments, passenger transport, and medical supply deliveries earn in-game currency. A player acting as a rideshare driver reported earning substantial funds by ferrying teammates toward active zones, outearning combat-focused peers while avoiding the risks of standard combat loops.
The mass-scale multiplayer shooter is developed by the Battalion 1944 developers, who were inspired by Arma 3's King of the Hill mod. Despite initial server instability and competition from other transport operators utilizing faster vehicles, the logistical and pacifist playstyles provide an alternative power fantasy for participants.
