Wardogs Developer Bulkhead Cracks Down on Economy Exploiters and Cheaters
Bulkhead has released Patch 0.11 for Wardogs, addressing server stability while warning players that abusing economy and experience exploits will lead to temporary or permanent bans.

Developer Bulkhead has issued a stern warning to players of the first-person shooter Wardogs regarding economy exploiters and cheaters. Following the release of Patch 0.11 on September 14, which implements necessary changes for server stability, the studio confirmed it is monitoring its systems closely as the game dominates Steam charts.
Bulkhead outlined specific scenarios and repercussions for players who exploit the game. Stockpiling money by abusing cash bugs results in a timed ban along with a reset of cash and experience. Demonstrating economy exploits through tutorial content is treated as advertising cheats and brings a permanent ban. However, reporting an exploit to Bulkhead via Discord or social media is considered an alert and prevents permanent bans. Experience farming via server exploits carries the most serious penalty, resulting in a permanent account ban.
The studio stated that backend data flags abusers quickly after repeated offenses, though testing an issue once or twice is viewed as helpful quality assurance. Bulkhead noted that it remains open to feedback regarding these penalty policies if the community feels they are too harsh. Wardogs is currently performing strongly on Steam, and developers continue to iron out technical kinks.
