Wardogs supports controller input on PC, allowing players to use a gamepad for combat, flying vehicles, and driving instead of keyboard and mouse. However, the game currently lacks button remapping, so players must use the default controller layout.

The early access title does offer extensive controller customization beyond button assignment. Players can adjust stick sensitivity, acceleration, and advanced settings specific to ground or air control. Input behaviors like button hold or press functions for leaning and aiming down sights are also configurable.

While button remapping is not yet available, Wardogs is still in early access development. The game is planned to release on consoles in 2028, which could bring additional control options by that time. For now, players will need to adapt to the existing default configuration.
