Wardogs reaches 3 million copies sold in 16 days of early access
The tactical FPS from Bulkhead and Team17 hit one million players within a day of launch on Steam, then doubled that within a week. The game continues drawing players as developers work on Season 02 content.

Wardogs has sold over three million copies in its first 16 days of early access on Steam, Bulkhead and Team17 announced this weekend. The tactical FPS launched September 10 and immediately drew large audiences despite initial server strain from the player surge.
The game reached one million players within a day of launch, then two million within a week. Developers attributed the rapid growth to strong community interest in the multiplayer shooter, which remains in early access as they continue development.
Team17 is published by Everplay, a publicly traded independent game company. In a statement, the developers thanked players for their support and confirmed they are working on Season 02 and additional content, with more details coming this week. The team is also addressing various bugs reported by the early access community.
Wardogs is launching ahead of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, which releases October 23. The title represents significant momentum for Team17 following Hell Let Loose: Vietnam's August launch.
