Waltz and Jam reveals new gameplay trailer at Game Devs of Color Expo Direct

Korean developer Flyway Games has unveiled a new trailer for Waltz and Jam, an upcoming hand-drawn action-adventure platformer. The trailer debuted during the Game Devs of Color Expo Direct.

Players take on the role of Waltz, a lost ghost traveling through a mysterious afterlife alongside Jam, his loyal spirit puppy. The unlikely pair must navigate seven unique realms inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins, solving environmental puzzles, battling creatures, and uncovering hidden secrets while discovering new abilities.

Jam serves as more than a companion. As the duo progresses, the spirit puppy develops incredible abilities that open new paths and help overcome obstacles. Players also collect toys left behind by legendary craftsmen, providing creative tools for their journey toward the Gate of Judgement.

Each realm embodies one of the Seven Deadly Sins with distinct environments, enemies, puzzles, and challenging boss encounters. The game features a distinctive hand-drawn visual style blending spooky charm with playful humor, bringing a colorful and whimsical take on the afterlife.

Core gameplay includes exploring as Waltz with Jam, discovering beautifully illustrated realms filled with charming characters and hidden secrets, using gadget-like toys and Jam's abilities to solve environmental puzzles, and facing formidable bosses while learning their attack patterns. Waltz and Jam is in development for PC via Steam.
