Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage Joins Xbox Game Pass
Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now play Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage at no additional cost, bringing rollback netcode and crossplay to the service.
Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a new title to check out as Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage joins the subscription service. SEGA added the fighting game to the lineup as they hope to build interest ahead of the horizon release of Virtua Fighter Crossroads. Subscribers on Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium, and PC Game Pass tiers can access the title without purchasing it separately.
The updated release introduces a brand new single player mode titled World Stage alongside rollback netcode and crossplay support. Players can choose from 19 different fighters with martial arts styles ranging from Hakkyoku-Ken and Shaolin Kung-Fu to Vale Tudo and Lucha Libre. The game features a classic arcade mode where players defeat the mysterious Dural, ghost data fighting from renowned players, and online options including Ranked and Room Matches.
Alongside its arrival on Microsoft subscription platforms, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage is available for purchase on PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Switch 2. Meanwhile, PlayStation gamers can find discounts through the PlayStation Tokyo Game Show Sale, which offers Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O. World Stage R.E.V.O. 30th Anniversary Edition at a 60 percent discount compared to the standard edition price. That special anniversary edition bundles the VF 30th Anniversary Swimsuit Costume Set, the Legendary Pack, the Yakuza Series Collaboration Pack, and an Anniversary Edition Special Title.
