Nearly ten minutes' worth of user guide videos for Valve's upcoming virtual reality headset, the Steam Frame, have appeared online as Steam Store assets. The leaked clips remain accessible to view across platforms like Reddit and YouTube, offering a comprehensive look at the practical functionality of the device ahead of any official commercial rollout.

Among the newly visible tutorial clips are videos covering unboxing, device fit, login procedures, IPD adjustment, the wireless adapter, controller straps, and headstrap setup. While much has already been discussed regarding the headset through previous rumors and Valve's official revelations—following an initial launch window slated for sometime during the summer—the videos provide specific operational details. For instance, the hardware includes an IPD lock designed to keep lenses in place between sessions so users do not lose their customized optical setup. Additionally, a magnetic spacer can be placed beneath the facial interface to accommodate glasses wearers and help prevent lens damage.

The videos also detail sign-in options, noting that users can log in either through a mobile app or manually via the headset's virtual keyboard—methods described in the guides as "clunky" but historically accurate.
