Turok: Origins Gets Savage New Trailer Ahead of Spring 2027 Release

Saber Interactive has released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming shooter Turok: Origins, showcasing a mix of gameplay footage and pre-rendered video. The latest footage highlights intense and brutal combat against the Turok Order and strange creatures, including dinosaurs. Keeping in line with franchise tradition, the title will feature a variety of interesting weapons that do not usually show up in standard shooters.

Alongside the fresh look at weapons and enemies, the trailer confirms that Turok: Origins is scheduled to launch in Spring 2027. The game is slated to arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The new footage follows a gameplay trailer released the prior month that offered a longer look at combat, dangerous threats, special abilities, and the Turok warriors.

Originally planned to ship earlier, the game has been delayed to its new Spring 2027 window, though Saber Interactive did not immediately comment on the scheduling shift. Described as the first entry in the Turok franchise in several years, game director Jesus Iglesias has emphasized that the project will serve as a respectful revival of the series. Drawing comparisons to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Iglesias noted Saber Interactive's experience in handling well-known intellectual properties while aiming to offer great single-player and cooperative gameplay.

Recent trailers have further detailed the mechanics of the title, showcasing both first-person and third-person combat options. Players can expect a devastating array of weaponry alongside harsh executions, such as a Turok warrior performing ground-and-pound maneuvers during skirmishes.
