Total War: Warhammer III Details Lords of the End Times DLC Featuring Thanquol

Creative Assembly has announced that the upcoming Lords of the End Times DLC for Total War: Warhammer III is scheduled to arrive on the 24th of September. Ahead of its release, the developer has shared a new cinematic trailer highlighting the fan-favourite Skaven Grey Seer, Thanquol, as he makes his debut in the Total War series.

In the new trailer, Thanquol can be seen playing opposing factions against each other in an effort to gather enough Warpstone to enforce his will. The footage also showcases new demigod-like Verminlords joining the Skaven roster, alongside various other units for the featured factions. While the End Times historically marked the destruction of the Warhammer Fantasy Battles setting, in Total War: Warhammer III, the expansion introduces fresh battles and reworks.

Alongside the DLC announcement, updates to factions such as the Vampires and Chaos are slated, and Middenland is set to feel more like its own distinct force rather than just another part of the Empire. Fans awaiting the content-packed release can expect additional information and unit roster details as the 24th of September launch date approaches.
