Theo James Teases Imminent Production Start for The Gentlemen Season 3
Lead star Theo James has indicated that filming for the greenlit third season of Netflix's crime drama The Gentlemen will begin very soon.
Fans of Guy Ritchie's suave crime drama The Gentlemen may not have to face a lengthy wait for subsequent episodes following the series' return to Netflix. According to lead star Theo James, production on the already greenlit third season of the show is slated to commence almost immediately.
In a recent interview with ScreenRant, James discussed the upcoming schedule, offering details on the direction of the new episodes. "We're going to shoot very, very soon, kind of almost imminently. Different locations it's going to go to, new places, new characters, and expanding the world even more," James stated. He also added that the production will lean into darker territory, noting, "And, you know, some of that darkness, we've expanded that too. So it gets pretty, pretty gnarly."
As of yet, Netflix has not announced a firm release date or window for the return of The Gentlemen for its third season. However, industry speculation suggests that if production begins shortly and potentially wraps up by the end of 2026, a late 2027 premiere or an early 2028 debut on the streaming platform could be possible. The crime drama stars Theo James alongside Kaya Scodelario, with Guy Ritchie serving as the creative force behind the popular series.
