A new tabletop roleplaying game set in the fantasy universe of The Witcher has surpassed crowdfunding milestones on Gamefound. Titled The Witcher: Legacy, the project has secured $15 million from over 32,000 backers. Late pledges remain open for interested players before the project launches next summer.

The tabletop game accommodates one to four players with an average play time of under three hours per session. According to the developers, the main story spans almost 50 hours, while uncovering all available content takes more than 100 hours. The project also features a dynamic sandbox endgame mode designed to offer extended entertainment value alongside a free immersive narration app that provides professional voiceover.

Pricing for the project varies significantly depending on the selected backing tier. The entry-level Core Pledge standard version is available for €109. At the higher end of the scale, the Shaded version costs €480. This comprehensive option includes an extensive collection of ready-to-paint miniatures, hundreds of cards and tokens, all expansions, an artbook, a journal, exclusive collector items, additional books, and unique gameplay elements.

The tabletop release arrives ahead of The Witcher 4, which is slated to launch in 2028, and follows the Songs of the Past downloadable content for The Witcher 3. Players looking to secure a copy can participate in the late pledge phase on Gamefound ahead of the scheduled release next year.
