The Witcher 3's Upcoming Songs Of The Past DLC Confirmed for 2027
CD Projekt Red has confirmed that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive a new expansion titled Songs of the Past in 2027, featuring more Gwent content and co-developed with Fool's Theory.
CD Projekt Red has confirmed details regarding an upcoming expansion for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt titled Songs of the Past. According to the studio's Community & Social Media Manager, Marcin Łukaszewski, CD Projekt Red is co-developing the project alongside Fool's Theory, a studio composed of industry veterans who previously worked on The Witcher 3.
The expansion is reportedly being made on a scale similar to 2016's Blood and Wine and will bring back more Gwent content. Players will once again step into the shoes of Geralt of Rivia when Songs of the Past officially launches in 2027 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Meanwhile, players awaiting The Witcher 4 will need to exercise patience, as that title is not expected until 2028. Developers have shared that the upcoming title draws influence from games such as Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 and Baldur's Gate 3.
