The Legend Of Zelda Anniversary Concert Tour Coming In 2027

Nintendo has officially announced that a worldwide 40th Anniversary Concert Tour for The Legend of Zelda will take place in 2027. The news was shared during a Nintendo Direct presentation, following an opening musical arrangement and the reveal of an upcoming movie title. Legendary Nintendo composer Koji Kondo appeared during the presentation to announce the music tour, marking the first time in almost a decade that Nintendo has held an officially licensed Zelda music tour.

The concert tour will span multiple regions, including Japan, North America, Europe, and Australia, with varying start dates across different areas. Japan's schedule is set to be the fullest, kicking off in Tokyo on January 23, 2027. Following the Tokyo premiere, the tour will travel to Fukuoka in February, Hokkaido in March, and both Kyoto and Kanagawa in April. In North America, the tour begins in Chicago on February 22, though additional United States locations and dates have not yet been revealed. The European leg of the tour will start in London on April 3, while the Australia tour is scheduled to begin on May 13.

Venues are expected to begin selling tickets later this month, which will provide a clearer picture of specific tour dates and locations. Regarding the setlist, Koji Kondo teased that the performances will feature a variety of music spanning the franchise's history, noting that the concerts will include everything from nostalgic tunes to modern melodies to mark the milestone 40th anniversary. Fans can also look forward to prior franchise milestones, such as the upcoming launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5 of this year.
