The Legend of Fancy Realm Remake Releases for PC via Steam on September 10

UserJoy Technology has officially confirmed the release date for The Legend of Fancy Realm Remake. The upcoming tactical role-playing game is scheduled to launch for PC via Steam on September 10. Alongside the release date announcement, developer UserJoy confirmed that a demo version of the game is immediately available for players to download and access.

Originally released in Chinese-speaking regions for PC in 1998, the classic strategy role-playing game is returning to modern platforms with a worldwide release. While the original version was restricted by region, this new remake will be available globally with localizations in English, Japanese, and Korean, alongside traditional and simplified Chinese.

During development, UserJoy Technology utilized generative artificial intelligence to assist in creating preliminary assets for backgrounds, characters, user interface concepts, and initial drafts for music and video elements. The studio noted that all related assets were subsequently refined and manually adjusted by professional art, sound, and video teams to align with the game's artistic style.

As a story-driven tactical RPG, The Legend of Fancy Realm Remake is set in a fantasy world shaped by ancient wars and fragile alliances. It combines turn-based tactical combat with character-focused storytelling. The remake aims to preserve the original spirit of the 1998 classic while rebuilding its visuals and systems for modern players.
