The Bus Adds Manhattan Expansion With M34 Routes and New US Bus Fleet

Aerosoft, TML Studios, and Rivet Games have announced two upcoming DLCs for The Bus: a major New York City expansion featuring the M34 and M34A bus lines across Manhattan, and a new fourth-generation US LFSA articulated bus with multiple variants planned.

Aerosoft, TML Studios, and Rivet Games have announced two upcoming DLCs for The Bus transportation simulator. The Bus – New York City will introduce players to Manhattan, recreating 25 blocks with more than 300 handcrafted buildings and hundreds of street objects.

The expansion covers 6.5 kilometers across two routes. The M34 line runs along 34th Street between the East and Hudson River waterfronts, while the M34A connects the Port Authority area with 34th Street before continuing toward FDR Drive. Together, the routes feature more than 26 bus stops designed around authentic stop locations and architectural styles.

Players will navigate dense traffic, AI buses, pedestrians, and city events while following complete timetables that vary by weekday, Saturday, and Sunday. The developers plan free updates to expand the New York City experience following release.

The second DLC, The Bus – New York US LFS Bus, adds a fourth-generation US LFSA articulated bus measuring 18 meters in length with three doors. The vehicle includes adjustable wing mirrors, controllable interior and exterior lighting, a working accessibility ramp, a dedicated operator screen, US currency, and customizable options. Two additional 12-meter variants are planned: a fourth-generation two-door US LFS and a first-generation two-door US LFSe.

Both DLCs are available to wishlist on Steam, with console versions planned for a later date. The Bus is currently available on Steam for $39.99.
