The Blood of Dawnwalker Unleashes Launch Trailer Ahead of September 3 Release

Developer Rebel Wolves and publisher Bandai Namco have released an official launch trailer for the upcoming open-world action RPG, The Blood of Dawnwalker. The fresh footage arrives just ahead of the game's scheduled release on September 3, offering fans a closer look at action-packed story sequences and the dark atmosphere of the Carpathian Mountains.

In The Blood of Dawnwalker, players assume the role of Coen, a young man who has been turned into a Dawnwalker—human by day and a vampire by night. Set in a world ravaged by wars, plagues, and rebellions under the rule of ruthless vampires, the game promises that every decision made by the player will have consequences that directly shape both narrative paths and gameplay. Built using Unreal Engine 5, the title places players in the region of Vale Sangora, where they will face characters like Brencis and his vampire clique while exploring myths, forests, shrines, and ancient ruins at their own pace.

The launch trailer follows recent updates regarding console technical specifications. Rebel Wolves confirmed that a performance mode targeting 60fps will be coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X at launch. This announcement addresses a massive response from the community following the initial revelation that console versions would launch supporting only 30fps and 40fps target modes.

Speaking about the upcoming launch, Konrad Tomaszkiewicz, game director and co-founder of Rebel Wolves, expressed excitement for the studio's debut project. He also invited attendees at Gamescom to visit their booth in Hall 6.1 to try out the game. Beyond this initial release, Rebel Wolves has already indicated that future installments in the Dawnwalker saga will transport players to entirely new eras and cultures.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is scheduled to launch on September 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. Pre-orders and wishlists are currently available across all platforms.
