Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate Receives New Update, DLC

Super Evil Megacorp has released its newest update and downloadable content for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate. The free “The King’s Gambit” update introduces the Rat King as a new end-game boss designed to serve as a grand finale for the game. To face the Rat King, players must first defeat Shredder multiple times and successfully rescue Master Splinter. This final run requires players to fight past the Rat King’s minions, while the boss himself possesses the ability to summon past bosses to assist him. Additionally, the update adds the dinosaur Pepperoni as a new ally within the lair.

Alongside the free update, new paid downloadable content is available, adding Slash as a playable character to the roster. Slash is built around fortitude and slower movement compared to other characters, utilizing his claws and physical strength to deal damage alongside knockback abilities to control combat. He possesses a natural affinity for Water and Ooze powers and features a special Enraged mode that grants faster movement and increased damage for a brief period. The DLC also introduces five new Artifacts to the game.

Furthermore, a Samurai Armor Pack DLC has been released, providing new armor options for all playable characters. For new players, a Platinum Bundle is now available that packages the base game alongside all paid DLC. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate originally launched on Apple Arcade in 2023, followed by a Nintendo Switch release in July 2024, and subsequent versions across PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The title features four-player cooperative gameplay as the turtles travel through mysterious portals to rescue Splinter from the Foot Clan.
