TALON TOWERS is a Fumito Ueda-inspired parkour platformer about scaling massive structures
Jan Malitschek's upcoming game combines intricate climbing mechanics with atmospheric tower exploration, drawing comparisons to Ueda's minimalist design philosophy.

TALON TOWERS, the next game from Jan Malitschek (developer of brutalist platformer BETON BRUTAL), has been announced as a parkour platformer set on dilapidated structures towering above an endless fog. The game draws inspiration from Fumito Ueda's design sensibilities through its atmospheric setting and deliberate level design.
Malitschek is working with Quinn K. from Blanksword and Hyphinett from If Found on the project. The movement toolkit appears extensive: players can run, climb, swing across monkeybars, wallrun and wallkick, walk tightropes, crouch, and crawl. The platforms are notably narrow, with falls leading down into fog below.
The showcase footage reveals chase sequences reminiscent of Celeste's second chapter, where the player is pursued by an unnamed figure. There are also moments that evoke the shadowy creature encounters from Ico. Another distinctive feature allows players to control a bird at certain points.
TALON TOWERS is currently available to wishlist on Steam. The developer has indicated the game will release when development is complete, with no specific release window announced.
