The immersive Barbie Dance 'N Dream experience for Synth Riders will end on September 30. The content has been available since December 2024 across Meta Quest, Steam, PlayStation VR2, and Apple Vision Pro.
Dance 'N Dream paired a unique Barbie-themed environment with FIFTY FIFTY's track “Barbie Dreams (feat. Kaliii)” from the 2023 film soundtrack. While the companion environment goes away at the end of the month, the song will remain available to purchase separately. Players who already own the full experience will retain access to it moving forward.
The experience was built by the team responsible for similar environments featuring Muse, The Offspring, and Lindsey Stirling. It also featured mixed reality support on compatible headsets, utilizing a giant Barbie box as a portal from the pink immersive world into the player's living room.
