Stuntboost, a skateboarding platformer set in your bedroom on cardboard, is out now on Steam
Stuntboost lets you perform tricks on miniature skateboards, scooters, and cars across cardboard courses in first-person perspective. The game features online leaderboards, a late '90s soundtrack, and collectible VHS tapes.

Stuntboost, a first-person skateboarding platformer, is now available on Steam. The game presents the action as if you're riding a miniature skateboard by hand across cardboard courses built in a bedroom, complete with half pipes and notebook platforms.
Your hand is implied in the design rather than visible on screen, but the movement replicates the feel of a Tech Deck. The game emphasizes speed, with a timer at the top of each map tracking your performance. Gravity plays loosely with physics; momentum remains grounded even as you navigate tight corners and defy typical platformer restrictions.
Beyond skateboarding, you can ride scooters and a car deliberately styled after the Toyota AE86 from Initial D. Collectible VHS tapes are scattered throughout the tracks for players to discover. The soundtrack captures a late 1990s to early 2000s pop-punk aesthetic.
Stuntboost includes online leaderboards where ghosts of other players appear, allowing you to compete against others' times and attempt to beat their runs. The game suits speedrunners and those seeking competitive time-trial gameplay.
