Over 35,000 Sign Up for Steam Frame as First Batch Results Show Slim Odds
Valve has completed its raffle for the first batch of Steam Frame units, leaving over half of survey respondents on the waitlist.

Valve has completed its initial selection process for the Steam Frame, running a one-time randomisation raffle on September 17 to determine who receives a unit from the first batch and who is placed on a waitlist. Over 35,000 people have submitted their results to a community reporting website to track reservation odds.
Data from the community site indicates that roughly 44.7 percent of respondents successfully secured a reservation, while 51.6 percent ended up on the waitlist. An additional 3.8 percent reported that they had not yet received an email from Valve. Anyone signing up for the hardware now joins the back of the waitlist, which stands at over 18,254 customers based on current tracker data.
The Steam Frame is available in two storage capacities, including 256 GB and 1 TB models. Community polling data shows that the 256 GB model is the more popular choice among users on a country-by-country basis. Reserved units are offered to successful applicants first, and unpurchased units will filter down to customers on the waitlist in order.
