Steam Autumn Sale 2026 Ends October 8: Biggest Discounts on New Games and Classics

The Steam Autumn Sale 2026 ends on October 8 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. The one-week event, which started October 1, has brought steep discounts to thousands of PC games, from recent 2026 releases to established classics.

Several brand-new games launched this year are seeing their first major discounts. Resident Evil Requiem dropped from $69.99 to $48.99, giving players who skipped the $70 launch price a chance to enter Capcom's latest survival horror adventure. Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is also $48.99, down from $69.99. Another new release, 007 First Light from Hitman developer IO Interactive, sits at the same $48.99 price after launching at $70.

Early access and newly launched indie titles are also on sale. Endless Legend 2, which just hit version 1.0 after early access, is $24.99 down from $49.99. Solasta 2, still in early access, is $31.48 from $62.98. Xenonauts 2, an X-COM-like tactics game that reached 1.0 this year, is $19.99, half off the $39.99 regular price.

Cooperative games dominate the heavy discounts. Deep Rock Galactic is $8.99, down 70%. The Forest supports up to eight players and costs $4.19. Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is $14.99 at 75% off. Monster Hunter Rise is $3.99, a 90% discount. Tom Clancy's The Division 2 reaches $2.99, also 90% off.

Older AAA titles see aggressive cuts. Mirror's Edge Catalyst is $0.99, down 95%. Watch Dogs 2 is also 95% off. Red Dead Redemption 2 is $14.99, 75% off. Hogwarts Legacy dropped to $5.99 with a 90% discount. Skyrim Special Edition is $3.99.

For fighting game fans, Street Fighter 6 is $15.99, the lowest price for a current fighting game in the sale. Cyberpunk 2077 sits at $17.99, down 70% from $59.99.

Prices in other regions use Steam's regional pricing in local currencies, though discount percentages typically match US figures. About 2,105 games cost $5 or less during the sale, according to SteamDB data.

The sale ends October 8 at 10 a.m. PT, which is 1 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. in the UK, and 10:30 p.m. in India. In Asia and Australia, the sale ends early morning on October 9 local time. Once the deadline passes, prices return to normal immediately. Games left in a cart do not hold their sale price.

To find the best deals, use SteamDB's sales tracker to check if a discount is the lowest price ever. Some games offer multi-packs or bundles at lower per-copy costs. Steam's Remote Play Together feature also lets friends play local co-op games online even if they don't own a copy.

The next major Steam sale will be the Steam Winter Sale, running December 17, 2026, to January 4, 2027.
