Star Wars Zero Company Hits 1 Million Sales Across Platforms
The turn-based tactics game sold 1 million units since its late August launch, with PC accounting for 70% of sales. The milestone comes weeks after developer Bit Reactor furloughed staff.

Star Wars Zero Company has sold approximately 1 million units since launching in late August, according to market-data firm Alinea Analytics. Analyst Rhys Elliott shared the estimate on Twitter, breaking down sales by platform.
PC dominated the sales split at roughly 70%, followed by PlayStation at around 20% and Xbox at approximately 10%. Elliott called the performance "respectable for the genre and during such a crowded period," noting that the launch window also included releases like Onimusha: Way of the Sword and The Blood of Dawnwalker.
The game's player base remains heavily Western-focused, with less than 5% of players located in Asia. This geographic concentration suggests limited international appeal so far.
The sales news arrives several weeks after developer Bit Reactor furloughed a significant portion of its staff, with the timing of their return uncertain. A strong commercial performance could influence publisher EA's interest in developing a sequel, though the publisher's recent acquisition by Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund adds complexity to future decision-making.
In MaxGG's 8/10 review, the game was praised for its ambition beyond simply applying a Star Wars license to existing mechanics, with developer Bit Reactor making meaningful tweaks to the XCOM formula.
