Bloober Team's Silent Hill remake is reportedly targeting a 2027 release window, according to a report from MP1st. The timeline would align with Konami's stated goal to release a new Silent Hill project annually if possible.

The remake is reportedly in production under the casting codename Project Noise, with actors Gabrielle Fritz and Jade Matthew attached to star. The project was announced by Bloober Team in June 2025, with insider Dusk Golem revealing shortly after that production had already been underway for approximately three years at that point.

Konami's Motoi Okamoto, producer on the Silent Hill series, has indicated the company aims to release new Silent Hill projects on an annual cadence when feasible. A 2027 launch would support this release strategy.

The 1999 original followed Harry Mason searching for his missing daughter, Cheryl, while navigating the fog-shrouded town of Silent Hill. The game distinguished itself through 3D backgrounds and fog effects that served both atmospheric and technical purposes. Locations included an elementary school, hospital, and amusement park.
