RedOctane Games' Guitar Hero-inspired rhythm game Stage Tour is heading to Xbox Series X|S on December 10, 2026, bundled with a Kramer guitar controller, drum kit, and microphones, plus a 90-plus song launch setlist.
RedOctane Games has announced Stage Tour, a new rhythm game inspired by the Guitar Hero era, for Xbox Series X|S. The title was shown during Gamescom Opening Night Live, with a release date of December 10, 2026 set for the Xbox version, according to coverage from Pure Xbox.
Stage Tour is built by veteran rhythm game developers aiming to honor "everything fans loved about the golden age of music games," Pure Xbox reports. The game reportedly features a launch tracklist of over 90 songs "spanning six decades of music" and a roster of 50 bandmates, with new game modes included for fans of the genre. Named artists in the reported setlist include The Rolling Stones, Metallica, Radiohead, The Cure, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mötley Crüe, Paramore, and Olivia Rodrigo.
What distinguishes Stage Tour from many modern rhythm releases is its bundled hardware offering. The game ships with a full set of controllers, including a Kramer guitar controller, a drum kit, and both wired and wireless microphones, according to Pure Xbox. A collection of licensed Gibson guitar controllers is also being released.
