Stylish Gun-Fu Shooter ‘SPINE’ Coming to PC and Console in Summer 2027

Developer Nekki has officially confirmed a release window for its upcoming single-player action game, SPINE. The stylish gun-fu shooter, which features a cyberpunk aesthetic and high-octane energy, is scheduled to launch for PC and consoles in Summer 2027.

Alongside the release window confirmation, the development team revealed an all-new gameplay trailer showcasing the title's atmospheric elements and gunplay. The footage provides a first look at the supreme leader of Tensor City, the crime-ridden cyberpunk setting of the game. SPINE stars a protagonist named Redline, who utilizes a sentient combat implant to enhance her abilities, and is built using Nekki's proprietary Cascadeur animation engine designed to create dynamic action sequences.

Nekki is previously known as the studio behind titles such as Vector and Shadow Fight. Further updates regarding SPINE are expected as development continues toward the newly announced 2027 launch window.
