Sony testing PlayStation Store wallet credit offers with game purchases
Sony appears to be running a limited test where buying certain games on PlayStation Store includes store credit bonuses. The offer has been spotted on recent titles including The Blood of Dawnwalker, Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, and Star Wars Zero

Sony appears to be testing a new rewards programme on PlayStation Store. Multiple players have reported that purchasing certain games now includes wallet credit bonuses, though the offer is not available to all users.
The clearest example comes from The Blood of Dawnwalker, where both the Standard and Eclipse editions display "includes wallet credit" messaging on the US PlayStation Store, with an offer end-date of 29th September. One Reddit user who bought the game received $10 in PS Store wallet credit after purchase.
Other recent releases showing similar offers include Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, Star Wars Zero Company, and Halloween: The game. Players outside the US have also reported seeing the promotion, though availability appears inconsistent.
The reason some players see the offer while others don't remains unclear. PlayStation Lifestyle discovered a PlayStation Store app called Wallet Credits in February, suggesting Sony may be developing a broader rewards system. The selective availability could relate to PlayStation's dynamic pricing experiments, which offer games at different prices to different customers based on purchase likelihood assessments.
Competitor Microsoft has offered similar store credit promotions on Xbox Store for years. Recent examples include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 pre-orders offering limited-time $5 or £4 credits.
