Sniper Dan, developed by Autonauts creators Denki, merges hidden-object gameplay with first-person shooting to create an unexpectedly family-friendly experience. The game casts players as Dan, a sharpshooter who uses his rifle to solve problems throughout his local community.

Each mission functions as a 3D animated hidden-object scene filled with people, animals, and objects that may need bullet-based assistance. The core loop is straightforward: identify a problem, shoot it, and watch it resolve. Tasks range from blowing away leaf piles in the park to opening jammed suitcases by shooting locks, planting seeds by shooting them into soil and watering them, and other creative uses of a hunting rifle.

The game strips away simulation complexity like bullet-drop and wind direction. Solving problems rewards players with animations and coins that unlock rifle upgrades or office decorations. Dan even selects market items by shooting them, maintaining the game's lighthearted tone throughout.

Sniper Dan is currently available at a 20% launch discount, bringing the price to $10.39 (£8.79). The discount expires October 1.
