The team behind Skyblivion, a massive remake mod built inside Skyrim, is ramping up preparations for its launch by recruiting new volunteers for its communications department. Although a specific release date remains unannounced, the project's makers state that the release is getting closer. A slip beyond 2026 is looking less and less likely following previous adjustments to the launch window.

Skyblivion comms lead Evan Flatt announced the recruitment drive across the project Discord and social channels. The team is specifically looking for volunteers with backgrounds in video production or social media. These contributors will help support trailer editing, gameplay captures, and developer interviews. Game capture artists who can provide smooth footage of the mod in action are currently in high demand. Interested individuals can submit applications directly through the official Skyblivion website.

The developers have previously faced scheduling shifts, including a previous planned release window that fell through. However, Flatt confirmed that the mod will not launch via a surprise shadow-drop. Instead, the team plans to reveal a formal release date ahead of time. Skyblivion is a PC exclusive modification project that recreates The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion using the Skyrim engine, representing over a decade of community development.
