Six Xbox Games Launch Today, Including Mad King Redemption on Game Pass

Six games are launching on Xbox today, September 23, with Mad King Redemption hitting Xbox Game Pass across Ultimate, PC, and Premium tiers.

Mad King Redemption blends traditional beat'em up gameplay with roguelite progression elements. The game features pixelated graphics in a 2.5D world, tasking players with relieving the king from his madness while battling corrupted enemies. Each run presents fresh challenges as part of its roguelite design.

Lawn Mowing Simulator 2 launches on Series X|S, PC, and Cloud. The sequel expands on the original's working-sim foundation with professional lawn care equipment from real-world manufacturers Kubota, SCAG, and STIGA. The developer incorporated community feedback and internal reflection into the expanded feature set.

Also releasing today are four additional titles. BIRDCAGE is an arcade-style vertical scrolling shoot'em up combining gritty pixel art with 2.5D backdrops and a retro soundtrack. Nomori challenges players to manipulate portals and gravity to solve puzzles and navigate environments. THE BATHROOMS is a first-person horror adventure beginning as an ordinary commute before the player awakens in a deserted fog-covered high school searching for a missing Shiba. VORON: Raven's Story casts players as a raven from Norse legends, exploring an open world to uncover secrets, solve puzzles, and save souls.
