Silent Hill: Townfall is out, and PC Gamer ranked coworkers by survival odds

Silent Hill: Townfall has arrived, and PC Gamer's team is weighing in on who among them could actually survive its nightmares.

One staffer ranked coworkers by their likelihood of making it through St Amelia, considering both horror game expertise and familiarity with the Silent Hill franchise. Puzzles in Townfall present a moderate challenge, but the real test comes from the game's monsters, which escalate dramatically in difficulty toward the end.

The ranking favored those with prior Silent Hill experience or a track record with horror games. Three coworkers defied easy categorization. As Joshua Wolens put it: "me, Kara, and Andy are about to die horribly in the zombie apocalypse or prove a very important point." Wolens was apparently thinking of Resident Evil during that comment.

According to the staffer's assessment, roughly half the team has a genuine shot at reaching the end credits. The rest face steeper odds when confronted with Townfall's increasingly intense creature encounters. Still, confidence in the team's puzzle-solving abilities remained high across the board.
