Seven Xbox Games Launch Today, Including Early Access to Ace Combat 8 and Deluxe Editions

Seven games are launching on Xbox today, September 28, with the day's main attractions centered around deluxe and special editions that provide early access windows.

Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve leads the lineup, marking a return to the series developed by PROJECT ACES. The game tasks players with entering intense dogfights, eliminating threats, and rising through gripping missions to earn their wings. The deluxe edition is available on Series X|S, PC, and Cloud.

Two hunting and racing titles round out the day's headline releases. Way of the Hunter 2's deluxe edition lets players take on unique challenges across two environments while meeting memorable NPCs. MXGP 26's Fox Holeshot Edition features all 19 official tracks from the season across MXGP and MX2 categories, with every turn, jump, and section recreated to match the official season.

The remaining five releases offer variety across genres. Blades & Battles combines 1990s arcade spirit with modern combat in a fantasy world inspired by Arthurian legends. Keep Driving presents an atmospheric management RPG about life on the open road, where players pick up hitchhikers, work odd jobs, and customize vehicles. Lost in Loss invites exploration of hand-drawn locations and discovery of hidden objects tied to personal stories. Sneak Cheese delivers a cozy puzzle game where a tiny mouse pushes cheese into burrows while avoiding hungry cats. Rounding out the day is Sneak Cheese, a strategic puzzle experience focused on careful planning and quick thinking.
