Runewaker Blames Runes of Magic Content Delays on ‘Ugly Bumps on the Road’
Runes of Magic developer Runewaker has addressed the lack of recent major updates, blaming delays on road bumps while claiming development is back on track.
Runewaker, the developer of the MMORPG Runes of Magic, has addressed the game's recent lack of substantial content updates. According to a report from Massively Overpowered, the studio blamed the recent developmental delays on what it described as "ugly bumps on the road." Despite these difficulties, the developer has assured players that the project is now back on track.
The delays follow a series of teasers released this past November. At that time, the developers teased upcoming features for Runes of Magic, including a level cap raise, a brand-new region, and updates specifically designed for gathering and crafting. However, since those teasers were shared, the game has not received any substantial content updates, with the developers instead only releasing seasonal events in the interim. With Runewaker claiming that things are back on track, players continue to wait for the teased content to materialize.
