RuneScape releases Havenhythe Part II, its largest area expansion in 25 years

RuneScape has released the second part of Havenhythe, marking the largest area expansion in the 25 years the free-to-play MMORPG has been active. The members-only update concludes the Havenhythe storyline and culminates in a final battle to defend the region from the Sanguine threat.

To access the new content, players must have completed the Secrets of Amberfell quest and reached specific skill levels: 51 Crafting, 55 Herblore, 65 Mining, and 60 Smithing. The update introduces new story content and skilling activities throughout the expanded region.

The primary reward for completing Havenhythe Part II is an ultra-rare, best-in-slot hatchet. Players can also gather Bololin Pearls in the new region to spend on rewards and upgrades. Chima Moss Spools are available as a new bowstring resource.

The update represents the climax of the Havenhythe storyline and continues Jagex's ongoing expansion of RuneScape's world with dangerous new areas and rewards for players who meet the content requirements.
