Atari has officially announced RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks, a brand new take on the classic management franchise. The reveal took place during Gamescom Opening Night Live, where it was confirmed that publisher Atari is handing the reins to indie studio Springloaded. Springloaded previously caught the attention of management game fans with Let's Build a Zoo, a title that holds 90% positive reviews on Steam.

RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks is slated to launch "coming soon" via Steam Early Access. The development team has emphasized its desire to involve the community throughout the early access process to ensure the project meets player expectations. On the game's official Steam page, the developers noted the heavy legacy they aim to uphold, tracing back to Chris Sawyer's original 1999 classic and taking inspiration from the series' early titans.
