RGG Studio to Showcase Stranger than Heaven During Tokyo Game Show 2026 Opening Night Livestream
RGG Studio and SEGA are preparing a special livestream for Stranger than Heaven, highlighting its historical settings, showbiz management gameplay, and Tokyo Game Show floor demo details.
SEGA and RGG Studio have announced plans to host a dedicated livestream to showcase development progress on their upcoming action game, Stranger than Heaven. The broadcast, titled the Stranger than Heaven TGS Opening Night Livestream, is scheduled to air on Wednesday, September 16, at 7 am ET and 4 am PT.
Players tracking the half-century spanning action title can expect a closer look at several distinct historical settings and timeframes during the stream. The presentation will highlight life and goings on in 1915 Fukuoka, 1929 Hiroshima, and 1943 Osaka. In addition to exploring these environments, the broadcast will feature a look at the game's showbiz management mechanics and tease what attendees can expect from the playable demo available on the Tokyo Game Show floor.
While the project recently made headlines regarding a live-action movie adaptation coming to Netflix, tomorrow's program will keep its focus entirely on the game itself. Stranger than Heaven details the origins of the Tojo Clan and is scheduled to launch for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on January 17, 2027.
