Cozy Life Sim 'Revive! Onsen Town!' Releases Steam Demo Ahead of October 8
A new limited-time Steam demo is available for Revive! Onsen Town!, a cozy life simulator developed by 饼饼 Studio and published by Harrison World.

Developer 饼饼 Studio and publisher Harrison World have launched a limited-time Steam demo for their upcoming title, Revive! Onsen Town!. Set in a quiet rural Japanese hot spring town that lost its thermal waters due to a disaster, the cozy life simulator blends farming and life sim mechanics. The trial version is currently available for Windows via Steam and will remain accessible until October 8.
The game features dual protagonists: Shinnosuke, the young mayor, and Kyoko, a girl visiting her family for summer vacation. Players spend the first two days of the demo playing as Kyoko, engaging in morning activities such as bug catching, fishing, farming, and assisting at a local restaurant. Nighttime offers additional events, including a night market where players can fry takoyaki and participate in mini-games like a shooting gallery. On the third in-game day, players meet Shinnosuke and can choose to play as either character for the day, locking in their choice while the other character goes about daily life based on previous decisions.
While both protagonists share certain mechanics, each features unique activities. Shinnosuke, for instance, has access to a car and can accept requests from the bulletin board. His primary role involves reconstructing the settlement, starting with small tasks like maintaining town roads and posting on social media before progressing to major projects such as building a radio tower and restoring the hot springs. According to the developers, experiencing the stories of both characters provides the full narrative picture. Revive! Onsen Town! remains in development for PC on Steam, with the free demo running until its closing date of October 8.
