Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance Coming to PC and Consoles in Q1 2027

Anraga Studios and The Farm 51 announced a story-driven rescue simulator where players pilot specialized drones through disasters, fires, and emergencies. The game launches Q1 2027 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Anraga Studios and The Farm 51 have announced Rescue Drone Simulator: Second Chance, a story-driven rescue simulator scheduled for Q1 2027 on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The game puts players in control of specialized drones responding to dangerous emergencies. Missions involve fires, explosions, natural disasters, infrastructure failures, missing people, and extreme weather. Players must assess each threat, select the appropriate drone, and complete rescue operations under time pressure.

Four specialized drones form the core toolkit. The Rescue Drone tracks missing civilians through cell signals and delivers medical kits. The Firefighting Drone extinguishes fires using a powder extinguisher or water balloons. The Police Drone issues voice commands and deploys smoke grenades and a taser. The Interceptor Drone uses a net launcher to secure airspace and disable hostile drones.

Flight physics underpin the experience. Drones have mass, inertia, thrust, aerodynamics, battery capacity, and damage states that all affect performance. Weather conditions further complicate piloting. Players can choose between Simulator mode for realistic flying and Arcade mode with additional assistance. A workshop lets players upgrade drones with components affecting speed, thrust, flight time, durability, and handling.

The campaign spans four acts with an estimated 10 to 15 hour runtime. Real-world disasters inspire missions across forests, coastal areas, city centers, and industrial districts. The game's narrative focuses on a specialist team whose members were forced out of previous careers by accidents, illness, age, or trauma. Drone technology allows them to return to work from safety.

The visual presentation draws from 1980s and 1990s industrial aesthetics, featuring analog electronics, physical control panels, and practical equipment design despite the near-future setting. Wojciech Pazdur, CEO and co-founder of The Farm 51, serves as art director and composer. Artur Fojcik, known for Chernobylite and Get Even, directs and leads the story.
