The upcoming horror game QUIET has officially drawn over a quarter of a million players during its debut playtest. According to the latest figures from Insider Gaming, the 1-to-4-player cooperative title recorded 271,132 participants across 148 countries worldwide.

QUIET tasks players with helping crash-landed ducks escape from a temporary prison while avoiding a homeowner. The core mechanic relies on environmental sound detection, meaning every noise players make can alert threats in the house. Ahead of the playtest, 350,403 users signed up, resulting in 271,132 active downloads. The event also generated community engagement, including over 800 live Twitch streams, more than 420 videos, and over 820 player survey responses.

Steam currently lists the title for a Q1 2027 launch window. Developers have not yet confirmed whether additional playtest sessions will take place before the full release.
